Autumn Sports Day 2024

Throughout the weeks of late September and early October of 2024, our annual "Namriin Sprtkat" was held over the span of two weeks. This year the event was organised internally within the school and on school grounds. All the students represented their classes, attempting to bring in the most accolades, from all the different contests.

The competition had a wide range of running events : such as the day when all the students squeezed into our school buses, arriving at the national park to race off in the 100-meter dash, and clock in their fastest time, as they fiercely faced off one another, the relay race, where the runners hastily passed on a baton to the next runner, and the exhausting middle-distance races of 400-meters and 800-meters. The athletes showed off their immense speed and stamina through the difficult contests.

On the final day of the event, our last contests, tug of war and wrestling , commenced on our football field. The tug of war match burned muscles, ached hands and depleted strength in the body. The teams collectively chanted as they pulled vigorously in this grueling activity. The wrestling contest showcased the skills and physicality of our peers, as they used their incredible strength , nimbleness and balance to make their competitor fall to the ground.

Throughout this entire event every student, whether cheering on or participating, gave it their all, beaming with thrill and excitement as well as showing a love for sports. It was a fun and memorable time. An event to promote health and active movement, held up to its purpose.

The award ceremony was announced a month after the tournament. All the medals were awarded to the winners of the competition. To which they basked in their glory just for a moment - proud and prideful.
